JENNIFER DOWNEY LMHC
Jennifer is a licensed mental health counselor at West Palm Beach Counseling. She attended California State University where she earned her Bachelor Arts degree and Palm Beach Atlantic University where she earned her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Jennifer works with of clients ranging from utilizing evidenced best treatment focusing on ranging from children and teenagers through adulthood. She firmly sticks by her motto "It's never too late to change your life".
About Jennifer
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received my Masters from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I have experience providing counseling services to a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds, specializing with children and teenagers.
My guiding principle is meeting people where they are, addressing their individual needs and barriers with a humanistic approach. My specialities include working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, low self -esteem, childhood traumas, communication and grief counseling.
I utilize an integrative approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Reality Therapy to help my clients achieve their goals and live their best life. I enjoy working with clients on finding their recipe for success. My recipe includes working out, surfing, hot yoga, and spending time with family.
